The Psychology of Yoga

A 3-Level Immersion into the Mind, Nervous System & Subtle Body of Yoga with Hali Love.
Live from Playa Negra Yoga, Costa Rica + Zoom Access Available
The Psychology of Yoga is a transformational 3-part workshop series, with each workshop offering 5 hours of immersive learning designed to explore the deeper layers of yoga beyond movement alone.
Blending yogic philosophy, yoga mythology, mantra, subtle body theory, breathwork, meditation, energetics, and modern psychological understanding, this experiential series invites both students and teachers into a profound exploration of self-awareness, personal transformation, and embodied living.
Each workshop weaves together ancient yogic wisdom with practical tools that can be integrated into everyday life and teaching. Through engaging discussion, reflective practices, guided meditation, and experiential learning, participants will deepen their understanding of the philosophical roots of yoga while cultivating greater clarity, resilience, purpose, and connection - both on and off the mat.
Study stories from the Mahabharata, Ramayana, Shiva, Parvati, Hanuman, Ganesha, Kali, Saraswati, and the symbolism behind the deities pair beautifully with mantra and psychological themes, giving students a richer appreciation of yoga's cultural and philosophical traditions.
Workshops are on Saturdays 11am-4pm CST via Zoom
