POWER PILATES

Power Pilates is a full-body, strength-based class rooted in the classical 34 Mat Pilates postures, infused with dynamic elements from Multi Barre, yoga-inspired stretches, breathwork, and mindfulness. This holistic approach supports core strength, muscle toning, improved posture, increased flexibility, and fosters a deeper connection between breath, body, and mind.

Each class begins with a 5-minute warm-up to activate and prepare the body, includes three rounds of Pilates push-ups to build upper body and core strength, and integrates guided breathwork to enhance focus and energy flow. The practice is designed to promote muscle toning and support weight loss through mindful, controlled movement.

Classes may incorporate props such as ankle weights, dumbbells, resistance bands, balls, and the Pilates ring to intensify the workout, but can also be practiced effectively without any equipment. The final 10 minutes are dedicated to a cool-down stretch, encouraging physical release and nervous system balance.

Power Pilates is perfect for those seeking an effective, intentional workout that sculpts the body, boosts metabolism, deepens breath awareness, and leaves you feeling strong, energized, and centered.

Power Pilates Classes

You can join Hali for Power Pilates on her YouTube channel, in person at her studio Playa Negra Yoga in Costa Rica, and at Robin B Movement in Tamarindo. There’s also the option to participate live via Zoom for classes held at Playa Negra Yoga, making it easy to practice with Hali no matter where you are.
