Let’s look at my foundational tool, The 7 Bodies Method. This tool explains that each of us have 7 bodies, being our physical body, our thinking mind, our emotions, our energy, our spirit, our soul and our intellect - which is our ability to learn.
Now with this in mind, having 7 parts, each with it’s organic make-up, how is it possible that we could follow a step by step process in order to achieve our goals of healing or enlightenment or peace or whatever it is we are after? We cannot. We can try - but I feel (and this is all simply my opinion), we set ourselves up for failure.
We must remember that as humans, we are designed to make mistakes. We (most of us) strive to become better, set goals, learn new tools, but most of us end up taking a step back every now and again.
It is important to remember that your growth process is a pathway - and that it is unique in what it looks like for each and every person.
This is why I am a fan of studying, practicing and collecting many different tools. As one of my students said in my Personal Development Mentorship Program this past Saturday - there are so many ways, but THIS way allows us all to create our own way. When people get to create their own way, with some intelligent support and guidance, they become empowered. Empowered people become powerful - FULL of POWER.
The important thing to remember as you embark on your personal journey is to remember that you need to create your “compass” - your navigation system; the one that allows you to be open for change, the one that is able to check your progress after the use of each tool and the one that supports you in responsibly celebrating your success.
